My First DSRL!!!

Yay! I finally bought my first DSLR. I'm so excited that I can't wait to take my baby camera out for a photography outing.

Initially, I was aiming at Canon EOS 50D, which costs about RM4700 now. But when Canon EOS 500D was launched, I saw that it has almost the same specifications that Canon EOS 50D has, at cheaper price! I couldn't wait till I save enough to get a 50D, so I eventually went for 500D which I think is more suitable for a beginner and amateurs like me.

That's great news Shirley. When I first saw the 500D I was like...goddamn bastards!!!! you can make HD films with it

LOL XD Yeah, you can hear the sound of the turning lens, which is the bad side of it. Anyway, I don't think I'll use that feature much

Yeah, it can be handy

I've been great! There're so much going on now that I haven't been spending much time on DA

But I'm still enthusiastic about photography and I'd love to share my work with all of the people here

So, how have you been? Anything new in your life?

Oh I'm sorry, I told a few people here on dA and I thought I told you as well

It's going great so far. We still live in a house shared with other people, but maybe we'll look for our own apartment soon

Travel...hmm yes, I will go to Hong Kong soon. Either September or February

Erm~ Did I tell you that I'm going to Shenzhen and Macau in NOV? I may plan to go travelling to a couple of places in Malaysia between June and October
